Welcome To Howling Dawg StudiosHowling Dawg Studios is located in Seligman, AZ between Flagstaff and Kingman, on I40. We got our name from my old friend Dusty dog who has a tendency to sing along to music he likes. He has since passed on....Howling Dawg evolved out of a sequencer bought to loop so I could practice soloing on the keyboard. First was the Digidesign Audiomedia III 2 input, 2 output card, then the Emagic Audiowerk 8 2 in, 8 out card, three 8 track ADAT machines and finally, the dream: Protools HD, 24 bit 256 tracks of automatable everything with plug-ins that run on the Digidesign hardware. No more CPU running out of steam, just pure DSP horsepower. The studio is located in sunny Seligman, off the main roads and away from the hussle and bussle of city life. We have 9 horses in the back yard who like to sun bathe and enjoy the desert setting.
